Sarah Grujic, 22, is a talented violist, known for her impressive performances and dedication to music education. A graduate of the College of Southern Nevada with an Associate in Music, Sarah is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Music Performance at the University of Las Vegas.
Sarah's musical journey began at the age of six, leading her to study at the prestigious Conservatory Vancouver Symphony Orchestral Institute. She has performed at esteemed venues such as Anaheim Walt Disney Records, The Smith Center for the Las Vegas Youth Orchestra Philharmonic, Las Vegas Young Artist Program, The 2024 Apple Music Performance, The Southern Nevada Musical Arts, Presently, she serves as the principal violist for the College of Southern Nevada at the Nicolas J Horn Theatre Hall. In addition to her performance career, Sarah has previously taught group and private lessons at the Las Vegas Academy of Arts and has conducted group lessons at various schools in Las Vegas. She also teaches composition, enriching her students with a thorough understanding of music creation. Her extensive knowledge of music theory and composition allows her to provide a comprehensive musical education to her students. Sarah has been honored with the Joe Williams Scholarship and the Sphinx Hispanic Latinx Scholar Fund, recognizing her exceptional talent and dedication. She is also a Semi-Finalist at the Las Vegas Philharmonic as a Intern. She has had the privilege of studying and performing masterclasses with renowned musicians including Jiwon Sun, Omar Shelly, Carlene San Fillipio, and James Harvey. Drawing inspiration from these mentors, she has developed a rich and diverse repertoire that spans classical, baroque, romantic, and contemporary music.
