Joe (AKA Theta313) is a professional drummer and music producer in the Las Vegas area. Born and raised in Las Vegas to a family with a rich history of professional musicians. He spent a significant period in Los Angeles, where he enrolled in the Berklee in LA program. During his time there, he earned an award for outstanding musicianship. Subsequently, he pursued further education at the Los Angeles Music Academy, studying drums under the tutelage of world-renowned drummers such as Ralph Humphreys, Joe Pocaro, Michael Packer, Tony Inzalaco, Bruce Becker, and others. Upon completing his studies, Joe embarked on a career as a musician in Los Angeles, dedicating over a decade to session drumming, recording, touring, and teaching drums and music production to a wide range of students.
In his role as a producer, Joe secured multiple publishing deals with various publishing houses and successfully placed music in major TV shows and movies, including HBO's Shameless, The Deadliest Catch, and Impractical Jokers. Joe has collaborated with numerous bands and artists across diverse genres, showcasing his versatility. Notable associations include the heavy metal band Gypsyhawk, pop singer Ryan Beaty, and hip-hop artist Doja Cat. His journey also extended to teaching drums and production, with experiences both independently and at institutions such as the Garnish Music Academy on Melrose Blvd, Guitar Center Lessons, Audio Culture Academy Las Vegas, and School of Rock Las Vegas.
In 2020, Joe returned to his roots in Las Vegas, where his family resides. His father remains an active bass player and guitarist in the local jazz scene. As a scion of a family steeped in musical tradition, Joe's passion for music has been a constant throughout his life. He has accumulated a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience as a working musician, viewing his role as a teacher as his responsibility to pass down the art to future generations.
Joe considers this not only his vocation but also a duty to honor his teachers and the legendary drummers who paved the way before him.
